One point pneumatic seed drills Pneumatic drum one-point seed drill is designed for precise placement of spherical or enveloped seeds in a central part of a cell in a multi-cell tray. Depending on the method of use we can divide seed drills into hand seed drills R (line not needed) and seed drills for line S (stationary). Seed drills can be equipped with machines improving a sowing process e.g. seed hopper vibrator, system of automatic cleaning, closed seed hopper (for very light seeds) and a number of adjustments facilitating the operation. Each is adjusted for a particular tray. Hand seed drills R Advantage of hand seed drills is lack of need for sowing line facility. However this drills can only be used with straight trays of 400 x 600. They are equipped with wheels allowing being led along two rails, between which you put trays. Rails can be prepared in home-grown conditions. This solution is exceptionally useful in case of small amounts of seedlings. Depending on the number of cells in the tray there are following seed drill models: VP850R/260, VP850R/160, VP850R/96. |
